Ignition had a strong relationship with FILA, especially the FILA originals, we were a constant source of design & development help under Jon Epstien.
Experience is the best teacher….
… I learned Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D software. Kevin Crowley Sr showed me how to draw shoes. That gift landed me a job at Stuart Weitzman. Noam taught me how to evaluate design with an eye for business. Mike taught me to keep going and chase the dream. Watching Jon Epstein talk about shoes was like magic.
The background is one of Kevin’s drawings and you’ll see that style and awareness of proportion very present in my own work. No school like the old school!
